Bio

Born and raised in the foothills of North Carolina in the small town of Mount Airy, Stephen Robertson grew up in the simple ways of "country living", as he puts it. "I was and always will be a country boy at heart. It's just who I am." This also had a major impact on his love for country music. "I've always been a huge fan of country music... I grew up listening to artists like Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts, Garth Brooks, and Keith Urban. Those guys are huge influences for me, and I'll still blast their songs going down the road!"

Another major impact in Stephen's life is his faith... He says his faith has played a major role in his life. "Being raised in church since I was small , my faith has been very important in everything I do. I am MOST DEFINITELY NOT perfect, but hopefully when it's all said and done if I can make a difference in someone else's life and God gets the Glory, then I can say I've lived a good life. That's the goal."

Around the age of 17, Stephen began singing and traveling with groups ranging from southern/contemporary gospel to country music. Groups/bands included were: Evidence, Master's Way, 3 for 1, Root 66, and Dixie Still. Most recently, he is pursuing a career as a solo artist, a first for the 34 year old. "It's something I've always wanted to try and I'm really excited about it. But at the same time it's a little different because I've always been used to being in a group so there's just a few things I have to get used to but I'm loving every minute of it!"

Just released is his debut album entitled "My Offering" that includes both that country sound that Stephen has always loved, but also the positive message that he wants to reverberate through his music. "I had a blast making this record and it just engulfs everything that is me in my music. Everything about it from picking the songs, to the instrumentation, production, everything. It was all I wanted to say and more. "My Offering" to God... I couldn't be more proud of the album we created and I can't wait for people to hear it." He lives in Dobson, North Carolina with his wife Brandi of 13 years along with their 11 year old daughter Bailey. "Life is a lot about living every minute you have loving the people that God has placed in your life, and then also taking that love and sharing it with the rest of the world. Whether it's in our small community or on a different continent, We were created to live this life to the fullest  and to love everyone along the way. Love is what it's all about."
